iREACH Health is a £64m world-class integrated clinical research innovation centre led by Queen’s University Belfast in partnership with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and Health and Social Care Research and Development Division.
iREACH Health will be an innovation centre operating out of two buildings on each side of the Lisburn Road beside Belfast City Hospital. The centre will co-locate all the essential parts of the clinical trial ecosystem together under one roof, working towards common goals to attract clinical trials to Northern Ireland, to set them up quickly, and to ensure there's equity of access for patients throughout the whole of Northern Ireland.
The innovation centre is funded by the UK Government and Northern Ireland Executive through the Belfast Region City Deal and by Queen's University Belfast in partnership with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, and Health and Social Care Research and Development Division.
iREACH Health will provide sign posting for industry and stakeholders, the facility will streamline access to investigators and patients, with support infrastructures for trials across all phases, expediting setup, patient recruitment and follow up. This coupled with a well-established clinical research environment and favourable regulatory ecosystem will deliver a streamlined trial experience.
