An EmpowerUs participant describes her work in six rural communities
In the heart of the Conamara Gaeltacht, community development manager Máirín Ní Choisdealbha-Seoige has been turning local ambition into lasting action.
Her participation in the Transition Coastal Labs work package (coordinated by Queen’s University Belfast) of EmpowerUs a European research and community partnership project, brought fresh perspective and practical tools that strengthened work her community was already leading. Together, they have advanced good governance, revitalised the Irish language as a living economic asset, and built confidence in a future firmly rooted in place.
