The winners of this year’s Staff Excellence Awards will be revealed at the official awards ceremony in the Whitla Hall on Friday 27 February. Samuel is a Lecturer (Education) in the School of Mathematics and Physics and spends his days lecturing, leading labs, and mentoring students from first-year undergraduates to postgraduates. When he’s not in the classroom, he’s busy turning big data into real-world insights, applying physics to uncover the hidden patterns in sport.
