Minister Baker and Viscount Camrose join CSIT for CyberNI Week Celebrations

The Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT) is delighted to welcome Minister Baker and Viscount Camrose as part of their visit to Belfast for CyberNI Week celebrations.

CSIT proudly showcased the progress made by the Cyber-AI Hub one year after the initial funding announcement.

During their visit to CSIT, the Ministers had the opportunity to engage with key industry partners of the Cyber-AI Hub, gaining insights into the cutting-edge technologies and collaborative efforts driving advancements in cybersecurity. Additionally, the Ministers were invited to interact with PhD students actively involved in the programme, further emphasising CSIT's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering innovation in the field.

Professor Máire O'Neill, Director of CSIT, expressed her enthusiasm for the visit, stating, "We are honoured to welcome Minister Baker and Viscount Camrose to CSIT. Their presence highlights the importance of cybersecurity initiatives in our region. We are excited to showcase the vision and progress of our unique Cyber-AI Hub and demonstrate the impactful contributions being made by our team and partners. Together, we are shaping the future of cybersecurity, and I am confident that our collaboration will lead to even greater advancements in the field."
