Patients and service users are encouraged to download the new My Care app and take greater ownership of their healthcare journey. The My Care app is a personalised and secure online portal that allows patients in Northern Ireland to access specific parts of their medical records, including medications, appointments, and some test results.
It is part of the Encompass initiative, which aims to digitize health and social care records across the region. Through My Care you can access information like your medications, appointments and some test results via your digital device.
It is free to use, and it is optional. You can continue interacting with healthcare services via traditional methods – letters, phone calls, etc.
