Evaluation

Our experts in qualitative evaluation and community involvement are undertaking a case study of Birkenhead regeneration, informed by ethnographic approaches, to respond to the third research question. This project aims to understand the processes of community engagement and involvement in Birkenhead regeneration programmes by reviewing existing public consultation reports for relevant regeneration programmes, observing engagement and involvement activity, and interviewing regeneration professionals and members of the public who live and/or work in the case study area (N=18). Findings from this project will provide insights into processes of public engagement and involvement for ongoing and future UGBS regeneration programmes in Wirral.
