The programme is referred to as a pivotal catalyst project in the Birkenhead 204
It will acquire a disused railway track from Network Rail and transform it into a green corridor through the heart of Birkenhead, Wirral. The proposed regeneration will revitalise the historic railway line, closed since the 1990s, to benefit local communities by offering designated routes for walking and cycling.
