The CAPNI team brought their informative displays to the Derry-Londonderry Halloween Festival. it was a great opportunity to chat with lots of interesting people and generally enjoy the spooky Halloween vibes of The Maiden City. Many Halloween traditions and stories have associations with archaeology, from artefacts to folklore. Many people with initially think of bones and skeletons, but this was an opportunity to show the public there's more to archaeology, and Halloween.

CAPNI had a display at the Balmoral Show to raise awareness of archaeological monuments and heritage. The majority of our monuments are in rural locations and engaging with the farming community will help to protect these.
