Ms. Clare Burnett graduated from Queen's University Belfast in July 2017 with a First Class MEng degree in Aerospace Engineering. Her final year project was entitled "Default Tolerant Aerofoil Design Optimisation". She joined the Advanced Composites Research Group in October 2017 as a PhD student. Her project investigates the use of auxetic material as a core for sandwich structures under severe loading conditions.
