MediaLab Partners with PRISM 

On 29th October 2025, MediaLab Director, Assoc Pro-Vice Chancellor Michael Alcorn MBE attended the PRISM Manufacturing Programme launch for programme partners, funders, and manufacturing leaders from across the island of Ireland.

With strong backing from cross-border partners - including InterTradeIreland, Eirmersive, QUB MediaLab, Digital Catapult NI, Dundalk IT and others - PRISM represents a transformative, collaborative pilot approach to advancing digital innovation and competitiveness across the island.

The programme will engage manufacturing SMEs across the island to explore deep tech applications, such as immersive, Digital Twin and AI technologies, towards improved efficiencies and optimisation of manufacturing processes.
